The Lux Clinic located in the heart of Leeds City Centre was founded in 2019 by Yasmin Leia and Rachel Sedgwick.
Their beauty treatments reveal natural beauty using non-invasive and non-surgical treatments which provide visible results without the need for surgery. The clinic offers a one-stop unisex service to help you look and feel good. All of the technologies they use are medically certified and award winning.

Clients
Not only do clients from Leeds attend their clinic but also outside of Leeds including: Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax, York, Sheffield, Scarborough and Middleborough.
They also have clients who live overseas, but reside in the UK on a temporary basis to either attend university or to work in the UK. These include clients from Kuwait, Iran and Los Angeles.
Celebrities who have attended the clinic for treatments are Ruth Connell famous for her role in Super Natural and Olivia Bromley famous for her role as Donna in the soap series Emmerdale.
The launch of The Lux Prickly Pear Seed Oil
While their clinic was closed during Covid lockdown they took the opportunity to research and find a 100% pure and organic oil to help maintain, repair and nourish skin, including ageing skin and problematic skin such as acne, pigmentation and rosacea.
They came across Prickly Pear seed oil which derives from a fruit within the cactus family. This fruit grows in hot countries such as Indian, Tunisia and Morocco.
This amazing oil is not only great for your skin but also great for the planet as this plant grows anywhere hot and doesn’t need water!
They chose to partner with a farm in Morocco run by a women to create The Lux Prickly Pear Seed Oil. Traditionally in Morocco, women had to ensure the education of children and take care of the household, while being dependent on the income of their spouses. But now there are opportunities to enable rural women to gain financial independence and they are proud to help another women come out of the shadows and thus improve their quality of life.
